Our Collaborators

We work with Harvard College Japan Initiative, which is an officially recognized student organization at Harvard College. One of the directors is an Alumnus of Harvard College and a listed interviewer, but would not be involved in your admissions.
The Global Health Organization (GHO; formerly GHLC) is hosted by students Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S). At Columbia VP&S, the IYRC is under the Global Health Organization, which is supported by the Program for Education in Global and Population Health, under the Department of Medical Education at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Our work is done by students and faculty and represents our views, which is not necessarily those of the CUIMC, DGSOM, and Harvard institutions as a whole.

The IYRC is an independent public benefit incorporation in Japan (一般社団法人IYRC).

"The IYRC was a phenomenal opportunity that was truly one-of-a-kind. During the conference, I was able to present my research project that I've worked on for nearly a year, and having such a platform to present my work was very new and rewarding. As a high school student, it was the first conference I’ve ever attended and was a great learning experience. I was also able to learn from others’ presentations in the conference who conducted research on a wide array of subjects. Not only were the research projects themselves quite fascinating, but the diverse backgrounds of the people behind these projects was what added to the uniqueness of this conference. "
